The Brian Ború Project in Armagh
A number of events are taking place this year under the broad festival banner 'The Brian Ború Project in Armagh'.
1.Poetry Competition.
We have establish an annual Brian Ború Schools Poetry competition (if you send me your address I will post you hard copy sample of the competition form). Open to both Primary and Post Primary students in ROI and NI the top prize is a glass engraved trophy sponsored by Caulfield Glass in Swords Co. Dublin. The selection panel is made up of representatives fro Dept. Education and Science in ROI and an Education and Library Board (SELB) in NI, Gael Linn and Armagh city and District Council. Author Morgan Llywelyn will judge the final twenty entries and select a winner in two categories.
2 The Brian Ború Charity Golf Classic
Saturday 5th June 2004 is the big day in the festival (see attached flyer)
It commences with the Brian Ború Charity Golf Class at Loughgall County Armagh.
Followed by a post tournament meal in Papa Neros restaurant in Armagh
Followed by a concert of music 'Brian Ború The High King of Tara' (Maurice Lennon) in the Market Place
theatre in Armagh.

4. Shared Heritage Art Exhitibition
Art exhibition exploring the shared mythological heritage between Ireland and Scotland by Scottish Artist Ralph Kennedy. The Rotunda Gallery Saint Patrick Trian Visitor Complex Armagh (May 24th -June 21st)
